Come To Loudoun’s 10th Annual Family Stream Day

At Family Stream Day 2010 Learning About Water Quality

Bring your friends and family to this year’s Family Stream Day event, held October 15, from 11 am to 3 pm at Loudoun Water’s Aquiary.

Family Stream Day is an interactive, outdoor environmental education event for students and their parents where they can learn about their Loudoun County Streams and the plants and animals that these streams and streamside habitats support – the only event of its kind in Loudoun. It is scheduled each year in October to coincide with World Water Monitoring Day and the Anniversary of the Clean Water Act. Loudoun Watershed Watch and the Loudoun Environmental Stewardship Alliance (LESA) are co-sponsoring this event. Loudoun Water’s Aquiary will also be open during Family Stream Day.

This event will be held rain or shine.  In the event of inclement weather, exhibitors and activities will move indoors so please come by and visit no matter what the weather may be.

Admission is free.
